Palm Springs House Remodel

Client Information:

Ted & his partner have purchased a home in Palm Springs, CA that was designed in 1963. The design of the home was close to the style of Eichler Homes. Ted & his partner will be using this house on the weekends & rent the extra bedroom/bathroom to a tenant. Ted is wanting a more formal, luxurious, & open home that reflects old Palm Springs.

Project Requirements:

-(1) living/entertainment area
-(1) kitchen with sink, dishwasher, range, refrigerator, prep area, & microwave oven
-(1) dining area with eating space for 4
-(2) bedrooms with adjacent bathroom, each with clothing storage
-(2) bathrooms that include a shower, sink, toilet, storage for toiletries, & linen storage
-(1) washer/dryer area
-(1) sustainable initiative

Ted & his partner were adamant about having a sustainable initiative added within the renovation of their home. In order to fulfill this, all the appliances in the kitchen that were applicable have an Energy Star to save energy within the home. Along with the appliances, every faucet within the house are low flow faucets to save water. The wood shelves in the implied mudroom areas are custom built with reclaimed & recycled wood.
