Retail - Bath & Body Store - 'the wave'
Project Requirements:
Create an environment that allows for customer experience of the brand, including the visual language and client for 'the wave'.
Brand concepts:
1. Natural, sustainable, and low impact (non-standard packaging as with Lush)
2. Colorful and clean (aesthetic and scent)
3. Add one or two for your project: Minimal & Fresh
Product Line requirements:
1. Bath bombs and salts displayed both loose and in gift packs
a. 15’ lineal display (min)
2. Body lotion in bar and bottle form
a. 10’ lineal display (min)
3. Shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in product in bar and bottle form
a. 10’ lineal display (min)
4. Body wash/soaps in both bar and bottle form
a. 10’ lineal display (min)
5. Focus area for seasonal/special products

Functional Requirements:
Using the plan provided, students will design a brick and mortar retail space within a mall leasehold space. Only the retail floor space will be designed. The design must include the following elements:
-A cash wrap (3’W min)
-Must be ADA compliant and comply with IBC Building codes
-Provide well-designed circulation
-The entire store must reinforce the brand identity

Concept Statement:
the wave is a store that promotes relaxation & just going with the flow. The products are packaged in recyclable materials to promote sustainability & to be low-impact. Once in the wave, it guides you to where you want to go.
